A Love Story - A Final Good bye
“Some loves don’t end with hatred, they end with a final goodbye.”
They met when neither of them was looking for love.
It started with small conversations, late replies, and the comfort of being understood without explaining too much. Slowly, their worlds began to overlap. Her laughter felt like home to him, and his silence felt safe to her.
They didn’t promise forever.
They just stayed.
Days turned into memories, shared songs, unread drafts, and eyes that spoke what lips never dared to say. They loved each other quietly, deeply, and a little fearfully, as if they always knew happiness like this comes with an expiry date.
Life, however, had other plans.
Responsibilities grew heavier, misunderstandings crept in, and timing became cruel. They tried, God knows they tried, but love alone was not enough to fight distance, expectations, and the weight of reality.
One evening, they sat together for the last time. No arguments. No tears at first. Just silence.
She looked at him and smiled, the same smile he fell in love with but this time it hurt.
He wanted to ask her to stay, to fight once more, to choose love over everything. But he didn’t. Because loving her also meant letting her go.
“I think this is goodbye,” she whispered.
He nodded, having tearful eyes even though every part of him wanted to scream no.
They hugged, longer than usual, trying to memorize each other’s warmth, knowing this would be the last time their hearts would beat this close. No dramatic ending, no broken words. Just two people accepting a goodbye they never wanted.
They walked away in opposite directions.
He carried her memories.
She carried his love.
They never met again, but in some quiet corner of their hearts, they remained unfinished, a love that didn’t fail, just didn’t survive.
“The hardest goodbye is the one said without anger, only love.”
And sometimes, the saddest endings are the ones where love was real, but goodbye was inevitable. 💔
Having tearful eyes, with full of love in heart, they moved away like there were not meant to stay.
Stay tuned for Part 2
